My Experience Playing Pokemon by Wikley

MADE BY WIKLEY, S8, 13 YEARS OLD
07/12-12/07 2022

SO!
this blog will be about my experience playing pokemon black & white
i might sound like a nerd in this blog but y’know, you gotta do what you gotta do.

alright so i’ll start with the beginning, first, the game is 3d (wow cool, nintendo 3ds moment)
my first 3d pokemon game i’ve played and last because i don't have money to buy the new
ones. not entirely 3d it's just the background, it uses 2d sprites BUT the angles are the ones
used in 3d games to add the effect. It was 2011 so what do you expect?

OST was beautiful, literally the only pokemon that adds themes to things that never
had/needed them, and it somehow worked??
I don't know who made them but they mix so well with the environment the screen shows.
somehow made my 9 year old brain actually notice how hard they worked on this

i also like how all legendaries/mythics are apart of the story and you find them eventually,
UNLIKE OTHER GAMES where they are side quests that you can only encounter on a
specific place, sometimes i need to GET A MOVE THAT I DONT HAVE and PROBABLY WON'T GET because of how DUMB I AM

the professor meeting and starter was unexpected, because i've played emerald before and
was used to the professor being in some sort of danger
As for the starter, I was ALSO used to it being indoors in some sort of lab because that's
what all of them are.
I chose Oshawott because, small water creature.
then met with my rival, who was actually nice with the player and not some cocky bastard.

He tells the player he’s trying to find his sister’s stolen pokemon.

i soon as i leave the city i already spot some pokemons i wanna catch but since it's the
beginning, i didn't have pokeballs
and then some dude with fire like hair just jumps off a cliff and lands in front of me without
breaking his legs, tells me some random wisdom, then jumps to the top of cliff again
(how the fu-)

I then continue to the next city where the first gym resides in which it's closed since its new.
do some side quests, talk to the fire dude and figure out he's a teacher, meet his students,
beat them (LMAO), go to the next route, and find the region’s version of the team rocket.
and also beat them.

The gym is now unlocked after I beat the fake team. I just went inside without leveling up
because I knew it was a normal type gym, and I destroyed everyone.
Then the gym leader came, he only had 2 pokemon so I thought:”no worries, what could go
wrong?” and nothing did in fact go wrong, i was going easy on him and i was still beating his
first pokemon because i wanted to have a little bit more fun.
THEN THE LAST POKEMON CAME IN WITH THE MOST BANGER AND MOTIVATIONAL THEME OF A POKEMON GAME.
“Did they add a theme to the last pokemon of a gym leader? nice”
The song was so motivating that I had to go all out, I then destroyed the leader’s ace with
one hit.

That's what happens when you give a “final boss” a song that makes the player get so
intrigued, that they go all out on it even though its difficulty is already really easy.
this story repeats a few times until i reached the ground type gym (fourth gym or something, i don’t know i don't remember)
in which was locked toobut instead of doing side quests you actually have to progress a little bit to unlock it,

The city it was in had a casino/arena that made trainers from this generation or past ones
fight each other, but here’s the catch, you could only use 3 of your pokemon. I fought lots of familiar faces ( both anime and game ) and then went and progressed with the gym.

Clay , the gym leader’s name, was really hard to beat because i think i died once or twice
trying to win,
and then when i did win i just closed the game and went to sleep with how tired i was.

While still in the same city I talked to an old man that missed his son, and wanted to give me
a pokemon that reminded him of his song, which doesn't make sense because if you had
something from someone that you missed you wouldn’t give it to somebody else. But I
accepted because it was a Zorua, a mythic pokemon that can shapeshift.

here's the dude:
la creatura
Continued on with the game, fighting off the “team rocket”, trying to find my rival’s sister
stolen pokemon, beat some more people, got more badges then boom
elite 4, honestly i don't even know what to say for elite 4 i just know it was easier than the pokemon gyms

now moving to the endgame.
caught some mythic/legendary pokemon because they were easy to find and only used one
to defeat the boss of the team rocket thing
he was honestly hard, well of course since he controlled the fusion of two legendary
pokemon. But I beat him with my own legendary. then that was it, got my rival his pokemon ( which already evolved and he got sad but accepted it, his sister did too )

went back home, talked to my mom, professor, my rivals parents then game ends
yay :D
SIKE

i go meet the old man's son on a abandoned castle inside the elite 4’s mountain
His name is N, he can speak with pokemon.

By the way, do you remember when I said “fused legendaries”? yea he had one of them,
while the other just ran away with the mafia boss, lol.

i beat him too then game ends, yeaaa wooooooo
i recommend this trainwreck of a game, if you are mentally unstable, you’ll probably die

 LOL

ok imma go sleep now bye
