Why do I think Cruella was the best movie Disney in 2021 (without spoilers)


 In 2021 we had a lot of wonderful works produced by Disney like Encanto and Luca, children's movies of course, but that doesn't change how good they are. But specifically I would like to give a big highlight to “Cruella”. 

Despite the bad reputation that Disney has with ‘live-actions’, Cruella was certainly beyond any expectations, every minute of this piece of art is magnificently well done. 

 Unlike Maleficent, at any moment Disney tries to justify Cruella’s bad actions, she’s an explicit sociopath and everyone, including herself, knows that. She’s a brilliant and talented artist, the clothes that she designed just show how good she is (we have to give due credit to the film's stylist, she killed it). 

Of course, behind a great character, there is a great actress, and Emma Stone was definitely this actress. The way she floats between Cruella and Stella helps us to see all the madness and particularities of each of them. I’m not even going to talk about the Soundtrack, but it is also amazing.

My final review for the movie is 4.5 out of 5 stars, I would recommend it to all of you.
